Exam Term Welfare Events

Hello Lovely Eddies,

With term now well underway, it’s time for some welfare events to keep you going in the run up to exams!

Pet-a-puppy Day Booking Slots – 15th May

Pet-a-puppy-Day is almost here! We can’t wait and I hope you’re as excited as we are! The puppies are young and they definitely get over-excited easily so the Guide Dogs Association has asked us to try not to have more than 10 people in the room at any one time. So, to make it easier for the puppies to stay calm and for all of you to get some puppy time we’re sending out this booking link for you to book some puppy time! If you wanted to come in a group get together with your friends and book you puppy time together (you’ll all need to log in separately with your raven accounts)!

  1. Go to the link: www.st-edmunds-cr.co.uk/puppies2013
  2. Sign in with Raven
  3. Pick your 15 minute slot
  4. Write your name
  5. Click save

And you’re ready to meet and pet and play with a cute puppy on the 15th May! 😀

The puppy at 11am is a German Shepherd Retriever Cross and the rest are Labrador or Labrador/Retriever Crosses! The event will be held in the Garden Room.

Welfare Sessions presents: Massages in Eddies!

Massages yaaaay! After a long day in the library a good massage is the perfect way to relax and unwind! And because unwinding is of central welfare importance we’ll have a professional come to college on the 13th, 21st and 22nd of May to give 15 minute neck and shoulder massages in the Garden Room. The massages will be free, but they’ll work on a first come first served online booking system basis. At present we’re only taking bookings for the 13th so click away and book your massage here: www.st-edmunds-cr.co.uk/massages2013.

We can only offer 8 spots for each day but I’m working on getting us some more massage time for the beginning of June!

Exam Care

Exam Care is BACK! We’re starting on Saturday 11th May (yes yes tomorrow!) 9:30pm until 11pm in the Garden Room! Come and have a relaxing break from studying with good company, a cup of coffee (we have a filter coffee machine for you coffee lovers!), some hot chocolate with marshmallows, a cup of tea, lots of biscuits as well as stress balls, jenga, uno, head massages and bubbles!

We’ll let you know which days each week it will be running – so keep an eye out in the bulletin! This week it’ll be running on Saturday 11th, Monday 13th, Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th (there’ll be the usual Sunday Tea as well!).

Also – if you’d be willing to help run one night of exam care, please let me know!

Hope to see as many of you as possible in these stress-release events! Keep positive!

Welfare Love,

Iris xxx
