Travelling by train to Cambridge? Engineering work on 1st – 2nd October

For all of you travelling to Cambridge on the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October, there is planned engineering work taking place on the rail network around Cambridge.

You will still be able to get to Cambridge via the rail network however please allow extra time for your journey.

The following services are distrupted:

From Stansted Airport

Buses replace trains between Cambridge and Stansted Airport.

From London Kings Cross or Peterborough

Buses replace trains between Royston / Cambridge and Ely.

From London Liverpool Street

Buses replace trains between Bishops Stortford and Cambridge.

College Bar – Open ALL Summer

Eddie’s Bar is open ALL summer selling bottle beers and spirits every night a week (hopefully!). Although we don’t have any drinks on tap (aside from tap water…) we can guarantee there’ll be plenty of music, drinks offers and friendly bar staff! We also have a new extensive whisky collection just waiting to be sampled!

TONIGHT – St Edmund’s College Presents: An Evening with English National Ballet

Monday 16th May, 8pm – 9pm (TONIGHT)!!

Garden Room, St Edmund’s College Cambridge

Bego Cao and James Forbat come to St Edmund’s College to discuss life as a dancer and the implications of cuts to the arts.

Evening will take the format of a talk on the above topic, a video of the dancers in action, followed by an open format question and answer session.

Free entry.

The college bar will be open from 7.30 until 11.00 pm and serves a range of very reasonably priced drinks!
